“Wynn’s personal and ministry thoughts for January-May 2019 Newsletter”

So much has happened the first part of the year. Our 2018-2019 RW Support Group ended in late February with a move of the Holy Spirit that produced dramatic change on so many levels in all our participants. Here are some comments from two of them:

Thank you for quite literally saving my life. 2018-19 was a year of wholeness and restoration because of God through you and RW. I do not take lightly your passion, safeness, and counseling. The chapter closes of being a fractured boy to a broken man living in truth and integrity.”

I was a little skeptical of being apart of the group having done something similar before. This group was different! I’m grateful for what I learned from these men. There were nights I would leave in tears being so moved by how God was healing some very broken things in my life.”

Please pray for all our participants, in Tucson, Flagstaff and Minneapolis.

I was privileged to speak at Carol Wagstaff’s book launch here in Tucson. Since founding Living Stones, she has also written a booklet entitled “Homosexuality:  A Path to Understanding”, now translated into Spanish and Mandarin, and this interactive book entitled, Reclaim, Restore and Rebuild:  Hope for Families Impacted by Sexual Brokenness. She has graciously consented to submit new articles for our website so that we can reach more with valuable help.

In March Carol graciously accepted a board position on Restoring Wholeness. We are honored to have her and her expertise to aid what God is doing through RW!

Also at our March RW Board meeting we privileged to accept Jason Caywood onto the RW Board. Jason has a Masters of Divinity, Fuller Theological Seminary Pasadena, CA. and a Bachelor’s of Arts, Religious Studies, Minor History, Tucson, AZ. University of Arizona. He now works with InterVarsity Christian Fellowship Tucson, AZ. Campus Minister with Graduate & Faculties Ministries. He has gone through RW and became one of our Support Group leaders. He has helped me this year rework and add valuable data to our manual.

Brett Martin and myself have been asked to officiate at a wedding the first weekend of April in Pismo Beach, California.

I will also be speaking in Crossroads Community Church in Lompoc, CA on 7 April in two services. Pastors Tom and Rita Horton have become close friends to Judi and myself since 2007. The church has supported RW since the late 1990’s. It is our honor and privilege to serve them and their congregation.

Our missions trip to Ukraine the last two weeks of May is looking very good and busy! PLEASE keep this trip in your prayers…we can not do this without your backup!
