It seems as though our Father is opening up more doors, and I’m overwhelmed by His goodness…again!
Again, I am teaching in YWAM Montana’s Lakeside EQUIP Leadership intensive 6-week course. It is humbling to see God do what He told me back in 1992, YWAM Lausanne, Switzerland. 32 years ago, He spoke to me about training leaders. Since then, our Father has taken me through so many valleys. He also guided me over mountains to teach me. He has given me what He had purposed. Here I am, still alive and still with that vision and passion.
Thank you to all who are praying for Restoring Wholeness, Judi and I… we truly appreciate the time you spend in prayer. The time, 20-23 April I will be teaching on Discipling Students from Difficult Backgrounds.
In Tucson we are moving right along with our Restoring Wholeness Support Group. It will run until the end of June. 5 participants from the University of Arizona and Central City Assembly are receiving our Father’s goodness and mercy. Jason, Jack, Rocklyn and I are leading and teaching. After much prayer we are excited and expectant of the Holy Spirit’s power. Even with our efforts, we would be grateful for your prayers. We need the Holy Spirit to do what no man can do in each of the participants and leaders.
If I haven’t mentioned this before, I need to give our Father glory for working in and through our team. They are scaling our RW Manual to greater heights. Lord willing in the next year we will see the results of the hard work and much prayer! Please pray for Holly, Brett and Jason as they work through the manual to make it more efficient.
God has been dealing with me about greater focus in His calling and purpose. Even at the age of 78 I realize that He isn’t finished with me. He wants my utmost for His highest. Sometimes my will or my control gets in the way. Yet He is so patient with me. The other day, I heard someone say, “God can do more with our surrender than with our control”. I promptly stopped what I was doing and turned to Him. “Father, I need You more than ever, help me to make quality decisions especially when I start to take control. I surrender to You.”
In His Grace,
Wynn
