“In 2022 my family moved to Tucson Arizona and started going to Central City Assembly of God. Our pastor introduced Wynn Thompson who stated that there was going to be a class on a Saturday discussing “Shame”. I felt moved by God to go to this class and it was able to minister to my heart. I was able to share what I learned and how much I enjoyed the class to Wynn. He was able to inform me of a full-scale course that was going to happen six months later and asked me if I would be interested in attending. I agreed and began to attend the full program that ran from February to April of 2024.
I was able to open up about what was going on in my life. The classes that were taught were amazing. I was able to bring into the light what was going on in my life to other brothers in Christ. The sessions helped me find the root of my problem, and the healing began. I was able give my shame, and my guilt and lay them at the foot of the cross of Jesus. I firmly believe that Jesus used “Restoring Wholeness Ministries” to restore my heart, mind, and soul to Jesus.
One thing my wife said, was that she went to Wynn and shared with him how different a man and husband that I have become. God has brought my wife and I closer together as husband and wife, and I feel the best is yet to come. I highly encourage anyone who is struggling with shame and addiction to take the courses offered by “Restoring Wholeness Ministries”.
