PEOPLE FROM GOOD HOMES ARE CONFUSED ABOUT THEIR SEXUAL IDENTITY by Demos “I wasn’t abused in anyway, but i still was confused”. Many people come from good homes yet the are confused about their sexual identity. They have not experienced any trauma but struggle with sexual addictions. God, our Father, is more than able to reveal truths about our self and lead us to complete healing and strength. “I always thought that the home I grew up in was a good home. My parents always provided for me. I wasn’t abused in any way but I still was confused about my sexuality in my early teens. An older friend introduced me to porn when I was 12. For some reason I was drawn to it more and more. Then when I was about 15 I had sex for the first time. After a while I found myself more and more involved. I just couldn’t stop. What I didn’t know then was that my legitimate needs had become sexualized prematurely. “I was invited to church one day and heard a man tell his story. I couldn’t believe it. H had been sexually addicted like me. I asked him for help. He supported me and lead me to Jesus. I am able, one day at a time”.
