Since our last Newsletter, Judi fell and crushed her right arm in 8 places. An emergency surgery was performed and they decided to totally replace her right shoulder and upper right arm. It was the same orthopedic surgeon that replaced my left knee. He did a fantastic job and both Judi and I are truly blessed by the healing Jesus is giving us.
My right should has been giving me more and more pain over the past 8 months. My orthopedic surgeon has decided to do surgery on my right shoulder repairing the rotator cuff. I’ve delayed the surgery until 27 May to give Judi’s right shoulder time to get stronger so we are not left ‘right handless’ (we are both right handed). I guess two left hands between the two of us are better than none – LOL!
Last but not least for me in this 2nd quarter Newsletter is that we are nearing the completion of my book. It’s been a 3 year project and very cathartic for me to say the least.
