Connect to the True Vine by Brett Martin

In John 15, Jesus gives us one of the most beautiful pictures of the Christian life: “I am the vine; you are the branches.” Just as a branch cannot survive apart from the vine, we were never created to live apart from the life, strength, and nourishment that Christ alone provides.
Yet so many people find themselves disconnected from the True Vine. Sometimes it’s because of the busyness of life, but often it’s because of shame, disappointment, past wounds, addiction, or sexual brokenness. When we’re disconnected from Jesus, these struggles can feel overwhelming, leaving us searching for comfort and identity in places that can never truly satisfy. The harder we strive in our own strength, the more exhausted and discouraged we often become.
Jesus offers a different invitation—not one of condemnation, but of connection. As we remain in Him, His life begins to flow through us. His peace replaces anxiety. His truth silences shame. His love restores our identity. And the fruit of the Holy Spirit begins to grow naturally in our lives. Freedom is not the result of trying harder; it is the fruit of abiding deeper.
One of the greatest joys of Restoring Wholeness is watching this transformation unfold. Through biblical teaching, authentic community, prayer, and the ministry of the Holy Spirit, we see men and women reconnect to the True Vine and experience the healing only Jesus can bring. As they abide in Christ, chains of addiction begin to loosen, sexual brokenness gives way to purity and hope, and hearts are restored by His grace.
Thank you for your faithful prayers and partnership. Together, we are helping people stay connected to the True Vine and experience the abundant life, lasting freedom, and true wholeness that only Jesus can give.
